Starting Deadwood VROC trip

Along I-90. Miles and miles of snow capped Mountains, and that's the Yellowstone River over there.

The Yellowstone is running full and over it's banks in some places.

Crow Indian tribe owns this gift shop, gas station, grocery store, and KFC. It's right across the street from the Battle field at the Little Bighorn. Custer stopped her for a .99 snacker at KFC just before his last battle.

Entrance to the Store.

Picture of a poster. Made me hungry.

Sign pointing to the Entrance to Yellowstone National Park.

Just crossed into South Dakota

Entering Deadwood.

Entering the Downtown area of Deadwood

Skid called as I was taking this picture. So, was talking to him, driving with my elbow and taking a few pictures with the other hand.

Gold Country Motel. This will be the Kaw Pasture for the Rally, and our home for the next 5 days.

If you click on the picture, you'll see that the little dot is a Freckled motorcycle that looks sort of like a Bass Boat!

Look who it is!! Jamey T. Our host for the next week, along with Trouble.

Following Jamey home in Lead, SD

The driveway. Everyone in Lead live on a hill side.

Jamey and Melanie's nice RV. This will be my home for the night.

The Tollefson House. It was built in 1930, and is like a cool Mountain Lodge.

Unless you're a Princess, you may turn into a Toad. This is where Trouble parks her car.

Melanie gave the chicken an olive oil rub, the coated it with fresh garlic and black Pepper. Just before setting it over a can of beer on the grill.

All ready to close up with some Hickory Chips for an hour

Mal and Yvette just rode in from Rifle, Colorado. Almost a 600 mile day.

Jamey T. Greets Corvette.

Jazz the dog is part of the greeting committee.

Inside Jamey and Trouble's living room. A nice comfortable house.

Living at 5500 feet, you get a lot of snow. Jamey T. and Melanie have matching boot dryers.

The chicken is ready. Exceptionally tender and juicy! Melanie cooked a great meal!

Whipped up some "Jacquie" margaritas for the ladies.

On the East side of the Continental Divide now. Was spitting snow on top. This is one VERY long train! Still cold and wet. I'm going to spent the night in a motel in Bozeman.

Nice new T-Shirt at the local HD Shop. For $29 it will stay there:-)

Bike covered, Garage Secured, Truck packed. Will leave in a few minutes.

Rain on and off all the way from the Coast to the Columbia River. This is a Thunder cloud in the Wheat Country of Washington. A strike of lightning tripped off my cell phone signal, but it came back.

Powerful sky. This is along Hwy 395.

Sunset near the Tri-Cities area of Washington.

This is Lake Coeuer D' Alene in Idaho. Spent the night in Ritzville, WA. Didn't get much sleep. Left at 5 AM.

Getting into some Mountains in the Idaho Panhandle

Entering Wallace. An interesting old Mining Town in Idaho.

Snow on all the higher passes. A few times it was right along the road in Montana.

Speed limit is 75, but I've been running 65 to save gas.

A pretty farm in the Big Sky Country.

Flooding in all the Creeks and Rivers I've seen in Montana today. Still raining on and off, and very cold.

McDonald's parking lot in Missoula, MT. I'm here now. It's raining, but looks like it will clear up. Very slow internet, but it's free :-)
