Sandy, Teri, Skid, Cranky, Jim and Cat.  Paula's Pan Cakes!

Teri, Skid, and Cranky wait for food

Robin is signing in Cranky for a Demo Ride

SPOT, the satellite tracking devise, has a representative here at the Rally

Getting all the instructions for the Demo rides

Kawasaki brought the full line of Vulcans for people to ride.

Skid and Sandy talk to Paul, one of the Kawasaki  people
Thanks to Cat's arrangement, this wonderful museum opened just for us today.  There were many interesting and expensive bikes to see.  I'll put just a few in here, I have the write ups on them, but won't put it in the blog.

An old Ariel Square four.  There was another newer on too.

A Rapide Vincent!

Only 10 of these made.  It's worth over a million bucks!

A radial engine drives the front wheel.  This is a step through scooter!

Strange :-) , but most of the bikes here are Vulcans's.  2 Gold Wings, 2 Harleys, one Moto Guzzi, and the rest are real vroc'ers.

3 Amigos.  Don and Skid are checking out their thumbs for some unknown reason. Slots looks like a happy boy.

Twin Flags.  Make you want to stand up and salute!

I rode this new Voyager on a Demo ride.  Nice bike.  I liked the color.

Sandy and Cranky.  We're on a ride, and a little misplaced.  Being lost is sometime fun.

A collection of nice motorcycles in the California sunshine.

Yep.  Davy Crocket has a winery here in the Canyons

Teri, Sandy, Skid and Cranky making big decisions.  Teri is looking for ants

Fine looking bike and rider!  These two came straight from Maggie Valley, NC, to Solvang, CA.  Both help up well, despite 123 degree heat in Needles on the way through.

The "new to me" Meanie. A fine machine

Another shot of the Meanie in a Vineyard

Skid and Sandy.

Wild Bill (Cranky) on his Nomad

A red Cowboy..........or Vaquero.  Depends on which side of the border you live on.

Took a wrong turn, and have been wandering  for miles trying to find a winery.

Couple of guys in a side by side Quad stopped and told us how to get out of here.

Walking down to the tasting room

Teri got right into the middle of a  chess game

Inside the Tasting Room

Skid found a map.  Now we ARE in trouble

After visiting the Winery, we went through some very pretty scenery, on a very rough road.  We just got down out of the mountains here, and stopped for a minutes rest.

A beautiful Rose.  Love the delicate color in it.

Lavender Blue...Dilly, Dilly

We learned a lot about growing and harvesting Lavender from the lady that owns this farm

Interesting show room

Took this for Dave and Romy

This is what a "Moto-Photo Journalist looks like with her head burind in lavender

Not sure if it was lavender or Cat Nip!

They use this still to make lavender oil

Skid relaxes under a 350 year old Live Oak tree

Vaquero/Lavender.....OK

The sales office at the Farm

Teri is getting high on Lavender!

Back at the Motel, people are admiring a 1953 model Nimbus Motorcycle

The overhead valve springs don't have a cover.  A very interesting motorcycle.

The motel has several of these potted Lime trees.  Looks like they will have a good crop
