Some Gold Wing riders at the Harley Shop in Sturgis, SD.

$32,000 plus Harley CVO, and it doesn't even have a radio!

Nice selection of clothes and other HD registered items. Very few bikes on the floor.

Like Pink? Real men wear pink.

Skid and Sandy taking a rest in the Black Hills.

Main Streety Sturgis. During Bike Week, no cars allowed here. Each curb and 2 rows in the center are wall-to-wall motorcycles. And any empty space is full of people walking..or trying to walk

Main Street

Skid & Sandy's dessert at the Pump house.

Don's dessert. I had a 16 oz. Americano instead of these nasty looking cupcakes :-)

The Honey mooners! Jim & Katie

Stewey and Dave "Solo"

Mike from Alberta

John "Grandpa D"

Stewey got out his "White Diamonds" and did a 6 inch piece of Skid's wheel. He said for $30 per side, he's finish it :-)

Yvette, Jr., and Ryan. The Miner's Den

Brandon with his new Honey!

Sandy making friends with a Buffler.

Upstairs at the Gold Dust Casino

We're waiting for the Trolley. Some of us ate too much to walk up the hill. Nice new RoadGlide parked out front.

Sun is going down, and the visiting is going on is different spots in the parking lot.

Brillo was getting cold, so he borrowed a jacket.

Brillo with his beautiful Corvette!

Susan got in this afternoon. Long ride from Florida in a little over 3 days on 2 wheels. She's a "hard riding lady".

Leslie and Flyin' Willy arrive from Washington

My buddy Frank. He goes by Big Ugly, but he's not.

Cranky arrived in some summer weight sweats under his chaps:-)

Ace, Brillo, Maxxx, Daley and Deb

Waiting for something exciting to happen

Evelyn & Rem

Frank

Ryan Martinson ride in from Des Moines on the NoClassEak! Sure is nice to see one of my old bikes!

Deb, (Mrs. Brillo) Showing off her "Corvette Tan" :-)

Lanny (Biglefti) Rolls in! 3 long days and he's still smiling! What a Guy!

Sandy picked up a sack of cookies to go.

The Pump House is an old Gas Station. You order at the counter.

Skid, Mal and Yvette.

Sandy had a very good breakfast sandwich. Probably a smart move.

The biscuits and gravy was priced right and a good quantity. But, they were thawed out in the microwave, and the gravy came right of a can :-) It as good anyway.

Jamey T. is tickled over something.

Mal & Yvette

The "Hotsauce" came in the right size bottle!

Skid is at the head of the table.

Bill Clinton's other business

The "Bass Boat" is lookin' good!

This house was built by Mary Baker Eddy for her son who was a miner in Lead, SD. He lived in it for 19 years. It was sold to a mining company for awhile, now is owned by someone else and is a private residence.

Chocolate and Ice cream. They make their own truffles. Fortunately, it was closed, so wasn't tempted to eat any.

Along with Truffles, you can buy a used bike here!

Nice of them to have free parking on my street!

Last picture of the day, losing light. Folks are gathering after dinner, little groups all over the parking lot and in front of the rooms. The rally hasn't officially started, but there is LOTS of people here! More pictures tomorrow.

"Skid's Corner". There are a few weak WiFi Signals floating around.

Condi, Flamekiller, and Yvette

The Pump House Cafe. This old gas station dishes up some mighty fine Bisquits & Gravy! (at least so I'm told)

Malachi in the co-driver seat in the Trolley.

Lucky Al is still awake! and Mal, at lunch

One of Wild Bill's Steak houses. Check the up stairs windows.

Mal & Yvette

Wild Bill's. I think one of the Soiled Doves is Calamity Jane.

Seems to be a lot of places to eat in Deadwood

Joe is shopping for some new clothes

Think this would be in interesting tour. May check on it later this week.

Downtown Deadwood

Strolling VROC folks

Another fun attraction. The trial of the guy that shot Wild Bill

Close to our "Inn" on South end of the Main Street.

Wompus was riding a Kioti trike down the street, Skid spotted him

Bucky made it in. Tired, but all is well with her

Wompus was going to do a Bikini Bike wash, but was afraid of losing the crowd.

Sandy visiting with Daley

Randy watching parking lot people

Lucky Al, Mal, Skid and Six Pack, and Flamekiller.

Parking lot visiting

Hal (Redeemed) arrives

"Mal & Hal"

Hanging out at the Gold Country Inn

The "Georgia Gang" just pulled in.

Lucky Al just rode in. 1544 miles in 23 hours and 11 minutes! He'll be a tired boy for awhile. He joined us for breakfast, then disappeared.

Kim (Flamekiller) lefrt his last motel at 5 AM, got here to Deadwood in time for breakfast after a short 250 mile ride.

Yvette, Mal and Sandy waiting for food.

Condi, JR, and their son Brandon, the newest member here, just got his number this morning!

Kim making his rounds. We ate at the Gold Country Cafe this morning.

Yvette's beautiful 1500 Drifter. She's getting lots of miles on this Beauty!

Skid on the back porch, holding court. Some good information is being passed here!

Melanie's 800 Drifter. A lovely bike! Oh, and Skid's Lead Wing there too:-)

Malachi has TWO custom sargents on his Connie. A Sargent back compartment and pan, with a Russel to sit on. This combination cost him at least $50 bucks!

The back of Malachi's storage compartment.

Mrs. Robinson standing in the parking lot of the Gold Country Motel in Deadwood.

This "house on the hill" is right across from the motel. It's a long way up, and no drive way! I think Wild Bill Hickock may have lived here. That's what made him Wild. He's buried less than a mile from here. His life was ended about a half mile from here. Aces and 8's.

Skid & Sandy in the PizzaLab. I had a chef's salad, which was full of garlic, and not much else...

Stewey and Ronda (yes, another Ronda no "h") arrived. We were visiting at the motel at the motel, when Stewey accidentally bumped the fire alarm. Lots of noise! On and on and on. Finally the desk clerk found the reset key. I think Stewey may be banned from the motel :-)

Rondy got a pretty good sunburn today, they put in a lot of miles getting here. Stewey pulls a large Camp Trailer, they are all set up down the street in the only campground in the City of Deadwood.

These two are young and in love :-)

View from Jamey and Trouble's back porch

The "Skid Rig" parked for the week in the Bowling Alley parking lot. A bright Sunday morning.

Unloading the Wing. A precarious job at best.

Jim is wearing his South Dakota Riding Boots.

The crowd is gathering! Sandy is out surveying the bikes.

Trouble was up early making these tasty Cinnamon rolls!

Yvette, Jamey T. and Melanie entertaining Jazz.

Purple Spruce cones in Lead, SD

Jamey T. We still think he looks like Carl Edwards.....

Jazz is a real sweetie! She's 12 years old, and very mellow.
