Traveling home

A cool morning on I-40

Mostly overcast and has been looking like rain.  We did stop in Albuquerque so I could visit Best Buy again.  The laptop was having trouble connecting to WiFi.  The Geeks said the WiFi Driver needed to be up dated.  They did. Now works perfect.  No cost 'cause it's still under warranty

Like this stop, near Laguna Mission.  In past years, these booths were full of Native American Vendor selling jewelery and clothing.  Last time I saw them in here, was mostly tourist trap items

Lots of history in those walls

Families still live here

I've ridden down close to the Mission, but have never been inside. Someday........

The vending booths are getting pretty worn out

New Mexico Rest Area

Cold and Windy up here.  The Continental Divide

An abandoned Kiva

This guy could have got a job with Lewis and Clark

No wonder it's cold

Katie making a blanket

Sheep herder

Inside the Days Inn, Gallup, NM.  We were going to stay here, but the whole town had no Internet, or Cell phone service, or working credit card machines.  A bad wreck had taken out a lot of equipment, and now one seemed to know when it would be back on line

So we kept riding

The Sky over Arizona looks better than it does in New Mexico

Chief Yellowhorse hangs out here

Another Route 66 landmark

We're home!

Last night on the road.  A Howard Johnson's room in Holbrook.  Meeting the 4E's soon for dinner.
