April 9 and 10

Laura showed up with Kawasaki colors on her nails/

Stonewall is so excited about being her, he dumped a full bowl of cereal on the motel breakfast room floor.  He did a nice job of cleaning it up :-)

Jim has that look in his eye!  He likes Stewey's new bike!

Brothers.  Jason and Bill (Southern Draw)

Grandpa D, Coyote, Lee Derrick,  Yvette and Slammer

Mark (Cheap B) and Wanda

Katie had Double Chocolate Cheese cake.  Susan has some Portoabello mushrooms.

Dinner at Mamacita's

They did have some nice looking desserts

The food was good, but the quacamole looked like lime jello

Mal and Vette.  Always fun to be around

Slammer, Stewey, and Badger

Wrong Turn getting ready to evaluate the salsa.
A very Classy basket of Petunias

Helmet hair!  Lanny snapped this with my camera. At least I have a little left to mess up

Thursday in front of our room.  Some of us are packing up

Stewey, I don't think we want to see you dance! :-)

If beer makes him dance, I wonder what Tequila will make him do

Cdr. Jerry.  I think he enjoyed the Nimitz museum yesterday

Canadians!  Stonewall was the only one brave enough to break the ice off the swimming pool and jump in

Lee Derrick.  New resident in Texas, and a nice guy
I don't think I've ever been smacked BY a Pinata.  I think YOU smack a pinata.  But, we get the point

Very cool store!

T-Shirts

Katie has a store here!

Customer waiting to get into the Dogologie

Most of the shops open late and close early here in Fredericksburg

Morning was a good time to walk the town.  Not tempted to buy anything because most of the shops are closed, and there are no people here on the sidewalk

Picked up a little something for Pat from this shop

Lots of pretty things!

I'd like to have this in my garage

Something for everyone

Lanny holding in his tummy

Forever Texas!

All these were from about 2 blocks, and there are a LOT more nice places in town

Adorning the fanciful soul...give me a break! :-)

A nice warm morning, finally

Popcorn of all kinds

Nice boots!

Wanted to try this, but it's only open mid-day

Under an old Buick Dealership sign.  The camera volunteer didn't get the sign.  Oh Well, missed the point :-)

Met this Korean War Vet in the parking lot of the local H.E.B. grocery. He owns and rides a VN1500 Kawasaki!  We gave him all the info about vroc and invited him to the motel.  He said he's ride over this afternoon.  In his 80's and still riding!

The posts have boots or hats on them.  Talked to the lady of the ranch this morning.  She waters the bluebonnets every day. She said this is the driest year they can remember here, and had really hurt the flowers

Coopers serving line. It's all good.  Really good............

1.5 pound of sirloin.  Lanny's lunch

I settled for one pork rib and one beef rib.  They filled me up and were delicious!

Susan, Badger and Coyote .  The old timer to Cooper's and the Newbies.

The meal comes with all the beans and bread you want.  You pay for cobblers and salads, etc.

Susan sneaking up on a Bluebonnet

Enchanted Rock. Those black dots on top are people.  Not sure why anyone would want to walk up there.

Not a good year for Bluebonnets, but the cactus are doing fine

It's always good to ride with Coyote.  A long time friend.  And, one who give a lot of his time to keep the technical end of vroc running smoothly.

Larger than life; Admiral Nimitz

One of many German restaurants

And another beer garden

Slammer

Badger, Susan, and our rally organizer, Grandpa D. (John)

Lanny blogging. We're in the process of packing up for the trip tomorrow.  Want to leave with all the pictures caught up

Gord (Stonewall) enjoying a refreshing dip in the pool.  A little too cold for the rest of us, but Canadians don't know better.
Wanda, from Slapout, Alabama, brought some of her famous peanut brittle to th rally.  I was able to score a bag to bring home to Pat!

Nice trike!

Chrome and Purple Passion paint with ghost flames.  Beautiful trike!

All the elctronic goodies too

Sorry, Joe.  About the sunburn :-)

Lanny and my vroc kid.
Always a Happy Face!

They look pretty good for riding about 250 miles two up on the little 650 today.

Attempt for a group picture.  I think there were only 2 or 3 missing

This is front of the house that Admiral Nimitz was born and grew up in.

This band really sounded good. The townis coming alive, must be close to the weekend

To another good "get-together", drawing to a close

A Toast.  Here! Here!

Stewey and Stonewall.  Friends

A good VROC group!

Our last night in Fredericksburg for this year

This lady, the hostess, certainly had a light complection

The Brewery.  One of several German Restaurants in town

I don't drink beer, but like this sign!
How would you like to look out your window and see this?

Ain't Bill Charmin'
