White Lightnin"

One of my favorite Route 66 destinations

Summer is here.  Maybe the legs will get a little pinker eventually

Easter Island

Over looking Valle Vista

The new member of our family

A good year for desert flowers

Notice all the buds on the cactus on the left

My friend Kenny

Trusty XT

Carl checking out for new snacks

Ed buying his weekly tickets, and collecting his winnings

Zach, Crystal, Carl and Ed.  This is an every Friday affair.

Always nice to have a new bike

Having TWO is even better!

Shake down cruise.  This is the bike I'll be taking to Texas later in the week, so need to get used to it.

A ride up Stockton Hill Road. Going to Meadview

Looking toward the West end of the Grand Canyon

They just paved the road to the Glass overlook at the canyon last summer.

Desert Dandelion?

Just finished installing passenger arm rests on the Wing.  Just in case a new owner might want them.

Flank Steak Roulade.  Inside is spinach, artichoke hearts, and several different cheeses.  VERY tasty,  Pat did good.

5 Bikes right now.  Home to sell a couple real soon.  In fact, I'd probably sell 3 of these.

Joining in a ride on Route 66.

Darn!  You have to be a gentleman to get in here.  I don't think I qualify.

Heading over the hill to Oatman

Cold Springs Station

Ocotillo's are blooming.

Love this ride!

Back Country Byway

Green stuff?  Large cottonwood trees, near a natural spring

Taken by a German tourist from Berlin.  He and his wife are on vacation.  Not much English, but knew how to use my phone camera :-)

Oops, this is the one he took.  I took the one above

Another green spot

Got in town for the shootout at High Noon

Lots of tourists come to see the gun fights

They have them 2 times a day, different themes most days

Most of the donkey were at the other end of town today

I was going to have lunch here, but all the eateries were packed, so I rode on.

Maybe the Mayor's house?

A couple more weeks and the town will be full of bikes.  Only about 40 miles from the Laughlin River Run, a lot of them come up here.

Kids like the burros

Clark Gable spent his honeymoon here

Tourist traps

Fine little bike

OK

Getting out of town

More Burros

Bike clothes

One of the last businesses as you leave town

After I rode on, about a half mile from the business district, there was a herd of 11 burros in the road.  Blocking traffic.  Finally got by them

Buy something for your Sweetie on the way out of town

In a couple of weeks, there will be about 30,000 motorcyclists here in Laughlin.

Welcome back to Arizona

John  lives just over the hill

A roadrunner in our back yard tree.  He was there 2 mornings in a row, then hasn't been back

The Sheriff

The bank robber

They split the loot

Burros

Pan a little gold here.  Or spend some

Another shot of our Roadrunner

A Dove nesting in the same tree

Just this morning, the nest was empty.  Pat is really disappointed, she wanted babies.  Don't know what happened to the eggs

Pat replanted this in a better pot this afternoon while I was out riding
We always have sun on out back porch

Possibly the last picture of me with a pearl white Gold Wing.
