HCR Day 4

Boomer and Shannon came to over here from Hawaii, bought a new Gold Wing in Tennessee, and ended up riding it here to the Hill Country Ride.  We are now in The Buffalo Nickle having a late lunch.

Enchanted Hill.  Years ago, a very well known Texas Ranger went on a scouting trip, from a group of Rangers, looking for some Indians that were in the area.  When he got near the top, the Indians surprised him...he got away unhurt, and hit in a crevise near the top.  He texted his friends down below, and they came to his rescue.  When they over took the Indians, they got acquainted, and while they were exchanging email addresses so they could be Face Book friends, the Lone Ranger made his escape.  All ended well.

Ron (Big Guy) was the ride leader today.  He did a very nice job.  Even  told some stories about local history.  He  lives in Kerrville now almost a local.
