March morning ride

Imperial Date Gardens.  Last week of the season to get a Shake.  They will open in September.  I rode out and ground up 2 pints of fresh peanuts.  Peanut butter to take back to Kingman.

California Redwoods

Many years ago, there was a large house by this old tree.  It burned down. The guy that lived in the house moved into the little shed by the tree.  This was back in the 60's.  He lived there until he passed away, an alcoholic.

Most South East City in California.  Less than a mile from Yuma.  Just across the Colorado River.

Lady's nails in a Quick Stop in Winterhaven.

Everyday they have fresh Tamale's in here.  Not huge, but very tasty.

Across the street  from our park. These babies are getting ready to go to the County Fair next week.

This Fat Baby will be sold at the Fair

Two nice pigs, and a couple of pretty dogs too.

A Pig Guard Dog

This little neighborhood dog was running down the street checking out the pigs too.

Statue in West Wetlands Park.  In memory of the longest sustained Army march in US History.

This Palo Verde is a little late blooming this year, but it's pretty.  Already shedding blossoms...

Arizona State Tree

The late Spring crops are being harvested. The fields are planted in things that grow best in the hotter weather.

Lotta Broccoli, ready to be harvested.  Probably tomorrow, the machinery is already in the field.

Fine transportation!
