Wednesday the 18th. ES

My good neighbor....Wrong Turn.  And Stewey.  The motel grinds their coffee fresh in the morning, unusually good.  Early Wednesday morning.

Stewey shows us how to breath when the power goes of in the middle of the night....C-Pap goes dead.

Nice shirt, Squirrel

Getting ready to go find breakfast

The Pancake House had a nice small buffet.  The salsa  was excellent.

Wrong Turn says, "Go West, young man!"

Coyote and Skid letting the food soak in

One of the group rides. A stop in Berryville to re-group and go over plans.

Don (Bassman) led this group. And a fine job he did!

Harley riders go by and smile at the broken Metric bike :-)  Actually, it was just a loose fixture on the light bar.

Katie does the work on her side as they remove the windshield

In an ACE hardware parking lot.  We wait, visit, and check out the store during the repair job

Temporary repairs completed, Katie stows the tools

Trees, curves, farms, lots of hay, and a very beautiful country side.

Pulled over for another photo op

There were 9 bikes with 11 people according to Skid, who keeps track of this sort of thing :-)

Stewey didn't wear his Hi-Viz coat today.  We could hardly see him!

Cassie was pulling out of a parking lot from a Chinese restaurant.  Some lady talking on a cell phone rear ended her.  Did a lot of damage to the bike.

Beautiful Vaquero is now a real mess.  Cassie has some road rash on her arms, but doesn't appear to be anything serious
Downtown Eureka Springs

Love this town!  There's activities going on all year

Basin Park.  The small theater has hosted a lot of musical groups

An Artisan community, it would be an interesting place to live.  But...it's 12 miles from a Walmart.  That would make it difficult.

Victorian houses everywhere

Not much level ground in ES.  Everything is built on the side of the hills

The Basin Hotel has several interesting shops in and around it.

Tomorrow I'll ride the bike around and get some good shots of the Crescent Hotel and the area around it.  This is all down town

The Y

Harvest time is in the air

Won't go there!

Allisan teaches jewelry making in a local College.  She has some nice things in her shop.  Will be giving her a little business.

Probably because of all the entertainers here and in Branson, MO (just up the road), the shops here are full of Glitz.  Some REALLY nice things.

Bar and Grill

The streets are getting longer and steeper.  I used to be able to walk the whole town in about an hour and then turn around and go back to see it again.  After an hour today, I'd not covered half of it, and was almost too pooped to climb back on my motorcycle.

The Cat House

Lots of motorcycle activity in the Ozarks.  Our group...vroc..don't make it a habit to drink and drive.  In fact, the majority of active members stick to coffee and pop :-)

Starting to group up for the evening

Lost count of how many are here, but they keep rolling in

Yes, it's a Kawasaki Vulcan organization (well, not really an organization, since nothing is organized)  But, it's evolved into a people club...with a lot of different marks to ride.

Susan and Badger arrive

Stewey presented them with some unusual gifts

This goes back a long time  I think Stewey is ahead of the game for now

JR admires a Honey Badger

DD has to keep on line all the time.  Romy is keeping close tabs on him! :-)

Zmean1, Gambler and Bubbles.

Eric (El Namad) has a pretty new Harley.  Oh...is it a bumble bee......:-)
Jamey T and Melanie

Skyking and Gearman arrive

Flamekiller, Zmean1, Bassman, and Margot.  The party will now get started!

Condi (leg), Coyote, Sandy, Hotsauce, and Stewey.  Now we'll have something to eat!  After a $500 stop at Sam's Club for the meat.

Oklahoma wood to cook with

Skid has a nice parking spot for his new trailer.

Visiting

Denise showing Sandy her grand daughter.  Tom and Denise just rolled in.  Haven't seen Denise for a few years, don't know why she looks younger than the last time I saw her!

Tom on his pretty new Wing.  Doesn't take long for the ladies for find him! :-)

Sharon is happy to see Jamey

Marlon Brando.  Errr, maybe Wrong Turn.  Errrr, maybe a Nor' East Sailor! Who IS this guy......

Skyking and Katie

Katie's raffle ticket from Maggie Valley.  She had a nice Duck feather, but it disappeared somewhere to day

Southern Drawers rolls in.

Bill and Sandy.  Bill has a LOT of two wheel miles on him this summer!

DD checking in again.  Texting the lovely Blonde he left in Canada.

Sunset in the Ozarks.  Wednesday is closing.
