ES Tuesday, 17th

Took a bunch of pictures around War Eagle Mill..without a memory card in the camera :-)  So, went back and got a few with the phone.  I'll post some now, and add more to the end of this post this evening after the group dinner

When you lye, your mother uses this kind of soap to wash you mouth

Brandon and Sheila discussing bean pots with Skid.  He knows something about everything.

This mill stone is being turned by water power from outside.  The operator is grinding up a sack of flour.  The biscuits, and corn muffins..and chicken pot pie crust was all made with flour ground with this wheel.

They make jams, jellies and different flavored salsas.  Stew is trying some samples

Just had to try a little bit of this. YUM!

The dam has a few uses, but one is to gather enough water to turn the wheel

This mill has been in operation since the Civil War.  Lots of history here

Karen and Preston will remember this bridge.  It's been improved a lot since they had to cross with a motorcycle puling a heavy trailer.

The original building burned down a long time ago, this one was built to replace it

Nice ride to get here from Eureka Springs

Mill Wheels

Stewey showing his nice 100 ounce Maverick Mug

More and more vroc folks arriving.

John Shreve (Coyote) and JR visiting in the parking lot.

Stewey has a camera with a lens that can really reach out and touch you!

Gambler and Bubbles, Watchman and Liz.
CARGO!  Been too long since we've seen Russ.  He lives in Iowa now.

Cassie got in after dark last night.  Riding in the rain, her Vaquero blew a main fuse. She had to be towed to a dealer, but made it in here after dark in the rain

Meet and Greets.  We'll be leaving soon for a group dinner at some Pig place
Cleve rode down from Kansas, but his wife Bridget  drove.  We're glad she came!  There are actually a few cars and trucks here.  Some of us are getting old :-)

Plotting the evening activities
Rockin' Pig BBQ

We had about 35 for dinner

Ice Cream and Sharon having just a snack. Lotta ribs here!

David had to help out Cargo with his pizza

It was good to be outside.  There was a VERY loud band inside the Bar and Grill.  Lots of people here, not just our group

Took a series of pictures as the moon came up.  Will just post this one

Sandy and I each had a Strawberry salad.  Same thing I had last year when we ate here.  It was excellent!

Back at our motel.  The palm trees are really lit up.

Some phone pics

Cassis is feeling better today.  She had a long ride yesterday.  And that beautiful red
Vaquero blew a fuse and had to be towed
