September 16. To Eureka Springs

A real "Savage" Theater in Booneville, Arkansas

We spotted a place to park, so decided this was a good place for a late breakfast

Turned out to be a interesting place.  Food wasn't great, but the ambiance made up for it

Downtown Booneville

Nice little town

Sandy scoping out the stores

Sounds good

Definitely a 50's atmosphere

Elvis and Poodle Skirts

Another room is the Soda Shop and Candy Store

Just like the 50's!  They had fast WiFi too!

Working on the blog

When I asked for some sliced tomato or cottage cheese for the potatoes and toast, she was confused. She said no one had ever asked for it, but she "supposed" I could have a "Mater".  They didn't skimp on it. The Sausage omelette was was dry and tasteless.  But the coffee was good

Shoo Fly  Pie. l In honor of Chunk

The waitress said, "I should have put on my makeup this morning" when she saw me taking pictures

We were nice, so didn't have to come up with 10 bucks

A different sort of Laundry

No rain so far, but it's coming

Local Newspaper shop

Large Church.  Wind had blown out a window

That's Skid and Sandy up there in front of me

This cafe was open, we thought they probably would have had good food.  It was in a different town

We've been on the Pig Trail for awhile.  Good Motorcycle road

It started to rain when we left. And drizzled all the way to Eureka Springs

Some riders we didn't know was checking out our trailers

Jam and stuff

Local Vino

This store had a large selection of Tee shirts

Very active in river rafting around here

Nice job of air brushing a helmet

We were in a line of 13 cars.  The old Chevy in the lead was going 37 in a 55 mph highway. Raining.  Lots of curves.  We finally pulled over just to let them go on, and eventually caught up with the line again

Stewey, Skid, Condi, and Rich from Texas

Magellon, Candi, Laura and Sandy.  Candi just rode in from Kansas on her new green bike.

Candi was riding with Cassie, who broke down on the road and had to take her bike to a dealer.  Word is she'll be here tomorrow
