Ste Genevieve ride Thursday 7 September

Lanny has been sticking very good with his diet.  But....caught him sneaking ONE carb coated onion ring

My salad from last night

Charlene and Sandy going to breakfast

Skid snapping away

Lewis Restaurant is a great place for Breakfast

A nice group to share a meal with

Pie?  Yum

The Cafe just brought in the desserts for the day

Katie has new shoes!

We stopped at this bike shop to check out the goodies.  I missed MANY good photo opportunities today.  Riding a bike with no cruise control, and using the phone for a camera, it pretty hard to get a decent picture unless stopped. And with a group of a dozen bikes and one car, it's hard to stop just for a picture.

We're in a Saint Louis suburb.  Nice place

Brillo and Deb used to be avid riders.  Then came Grandkids, Corvettes, and Golf. Today they are in an Audi Sports car.  No matter how they got here, it's good having them here.

Ice Cream and Eric discussing important things

Katie checking out 3 wheels

Copperhead, and Flash are the rally organizers. And a fine job they are doing.

Lanny found some shade at the Anvil Restaurant  at our destination.  The building was built in 1850.  It became the Anvil restaurant in 1855.

Sandy ready to eat!

Very interesting place.  Food was good too

Keven (Wolf) from Washington is the long distance rider, Nice to see someone from the Pacific Northwest!

Time to eat and run....Copperhead, Katie and Jim checking out the menu
Thursday evening.  A potluck cook out

Perfect weather.  75 degrees, low humidity and no wind.  Took some good planning for this!

A good turn out

Lanny won the "eat the most"  I think.  He had a 30 oz. steak, and 3 large Brats.  He's contemplating dessert.

Eric in checking the left overs

Just SOME of the desserts

Very tempting, but I did restrain..in the room now having decaf coffee instead

Flash and Jax.  She and Copperhead worked hard to organize and advertise this "Get-together".  Not a huge crowd, but fine folks, and the rides have been perfect.  This is a very nice location.  Even if it IS a long way from Arizona :-)
