Sept 2019 Class 60th and ES trip

Welcome to the town of Beatty, NV  This is the greeting committee.

They were sniffing around the Accord.

Burt, the Burro.  Waiting for the Burro Bus

A most wonderful place

Welcome...Won't you come in?

About a dozen on more halloween figures.  Most mechanical.  Very interesting. And it's only 6 weeks or so to Halloween.

Hook....the Captain

Appropriate, since I'm  going to Eureka Springs after visiting Grants Pass, OR
Milepost 11, Esmeralda County, Nevada. State Hwy 95

A store in Goldfield

Downtown Tonopah

When we were negotiating to buy the house we're in now, in Kingman, we were driving to Coos Bay on Highway 95. A couple miles from here, we got a call saying our offer had been accepted.  We stopped at this Casino, and asked if they had a FAX machine we could use.  They did, and the let us in the office.  We faxed out our financial information, paid the house off, and left the Banc Club owning a home.

Been buy here many times, never spent the night

Always think of Kelly Cobb

A park in Hawthorne, NV.  A very Patriotic city.  Lots of flags, and Military related themes around town

This is a sporting  goods store.  There are large deer in the surrounding mountains, so hunters stop here to get the big ammo/

Acres and acres of bunkers around the nearby area.  May still full of live explosives

Inside the Flying J/Casino in Fallon, NV
Street Dancing in Susanville, CA

For Bob and Ronda, and our other Square Dance friends

Grants Pass.  Full of Bears.  They are on almost every block in the downtown area.  All different, all Beautifully cared for. Most are funny.  I'm here for my 60th Class reunion this weekend

Some are very large.  The bright early morning sun didn't do justice to this picture

Many beautiful hanging baskets in old town. This is in front of the old train station

G Street.  In the 40's and 50's this was mostly all bars and places nice people didn't go.  Now, it's antique shops,  quaint little shops, and a center of social activities...hmmm, maybe hasn't changed that much after all,  It's a very nice street

Rooms are expensive in this little upscale town.  This Super 8 is small, but very clean, and has everything I need for a couple of days. Lots of outlets and even  a couple panels of USB ports for charging things.  My kind of place, and wasn't over priced,
