Last ES 2019 and trip home

Last picture of Friday evening.  Sandy, MaryLou, Skid, Mike and Jamey T.

Chilly Saturday morning.  Bill is a Kawi Girl!

Several people are leaving on Saturday.  Trailering up.

I remember the "good old days" when most people rode their bikes to this rally :-)

All vroc cars.  But, that's all right.  It's the people, not how they get here.

Laura is getting a few patches

Scott, Nash, Jim, Liz, Sandy, Skid, Yolanda, Mitch, Bill, Laura, Mal, Yvette and Paul

Scott and Nash

The Motel is interesting.  They put a lot of work into the grounds last year

Nice Fireplace

Original owner was a distant relative.  However they sold a couple of year ago to another Acord...who isn't related to either of us.  At least from what we decided .

Some downtown pictures

Carroll County Court house

This is where my Ordination registration is filed.  As well as Badger and Zmean1's marriage license.

I don't know how many took advantage of this.  They put on a nice steak dinner, but some of us already had other plans before we knew about it.

Hippy Bus

A Wild animal rescue.  They also take in deformed animals from circus and other organizations that have them.  Lions, Tigers, and lots of other big animals

A burned up 18 wheeler, hauling cars.  Burned to the ground on I-40.  They were still cleaning up.  Long traffic jam

El Modelo in Albuquerque.  Been in business serving take out New Mexican food since 1929.

Always busy.  The really put out a lot of food

No place for indoor dining

My food is about ready

It was cold and raining. I went to a steel table under a tree, but got soaked, so ate in the car

I can't begin to count how many times I've stopped here.  Many, Many times on different bikes, cars and trucks.

Arizona has nice Rest Areas,  very clean

And...lots of nice green grass.  Well, maybe nice rocks

Couple miles West of Flagstaff.  I've been burning up the road.

Still over a hundred miles to go, but it's all downhill to Kingman at 3500 foot.  My total trip, including the class reunion in Grants Pass, OR, then Eureka Springs, and back home was 4665 miles.  The little Honda gave me a comfortable ride, good gas mileage, and protection from the weather.  It's nice to be home.
