Solvang Day 4

Had our pastry this morning, but eating light today.  Big meal planned this evening.

Quicksilver Farms,  These horses are tiny,  Kasey is over there with the orange hat and camera,  look how small they are next to him,

They were playful today

At the Lavender fields.  This us used for weddings,  No one was in the mood today,

Getting close to harvest time.  Need to mature just a little more.

Under the spreading Live Oak Tree

Biglefti enjoying some Lavender Lemonade.

Whenever I visit this place, I think of Romy!

Lanny, (Biglefti), Rick (Wrinkles), Kasey, Ray and Sherm

Nice to see Rick at a vroc gathering. Remember doing business with him over the phone in the late 90's, but this is the first time we've met in person,  Should have been sooner!

Drank the Lemonade, but will take the Butter home for Pat.

Other camera.  Cute ponys

This one appears like she'll be a mommy soon

Very cute little animals,  But I liked the little black Yorkipoo we saw yesterday better :-)

The Thundering herd

Ray's Voyager Trike

Of Course.  Lanny has to park in the shade

A favorite Lady

Ready to roll on to more adventures.  Some of the group went out to the coast today, other chose this route.
Kasey and Lanny just finishing up some very tasty Yogurt.

Tourist season seems to be in full swing

This Asian lady didn't speak English.  I could tell she asked her husband to get a picture of her by my bike.  So I snapped one of her.  She didn't know it was mine. :-)

Lanny and Kasey went up to see what was inside the windmill.  It was full of costumes and party clothes.  They didn't hang around long.

Horses and Bicycles haul people around. As well as Beemer convertables.

Visited Santa Inez Mission.  It's been here since 1804.  Some of the buildings are original.  It's a large complex

Main entrance to the Sanctuary.

Pretty Asian Ladies like the white bikes.  Heavy set white guys like the red one.

Three Yogurt businesses in town.  After a lot of research, we decided on this one.  It was a good choice!
Petar has a nice shirt!

Wes, VSP, Kasey, Cat, Sue, Ray, Biglefti, James, Petar, and Wrinkles.  11 of us went to the Rally dinner.  Cranky stayed at the motel and held down our social table.

No one went home hungry

Cat had sea food

Sue doesn't like mushrooms, so Cat helped her get rid of them

No, didn't eat the whole thing!

Cat's Birthday surprise.  In years past, Linda S. and Sandy R. has shared in the birthday festivities.  We miss them this year.

We're all full.  The meal comes with either ice cream, or a root beer float, or an after dinner liqueur.  Everyone had at least one.

After dinner relaxing

I know a lot of West Coast faces aren't familiar to the large number of VROC'ers on the East side of the states.  You need to get out here and meet them!

12 isn't a large number for a Nationally advertised rally, but what we lack in numbers, we make up in fun

Wrinkles.  VROC Number 323.  He's been in the organization a long time....

James & Cat.  The Hosts with the most!

Lanny is showing Sue his blog.  Gold Wings are good for something. :-)
