Empire Lakes.  We lived about a half mile from the lakes here in Coos Bay.  Good walking trails, fishing, and relaxing in the woods.

The lake is planted with Trout a couple times a year.  Some are pretty good sized

Last night Angie and the boys went to Sunset Beach and did a Midnight with a Full Moon paddle on the Pacific Ocean.

Coast Guard helicoptors are a familiar sight around here.  Home of the US Coast Guard Air Station, North Bend.

She can kick up a pretty good wake.  Surprised at how fast she can go on the water

Jon loaded his fishing pole on the board and tried the middle of the lake.  This is pretty mild for him, he's an accomplished Ocean surfer.
