First day on the road to Logan

Biglefti cruising on North Shore Drive in the Lake Mead Recreation area.  We only went 421.1 miles today, an easy and fun filled ride!

A side trip up to the end of the Kolab Canyon Road. A part of Zion Canyon in Utah.

Spectacular scenery!

Took over a hundred pictures today, only adding 14 to the blog.  We saw some beautiful country.

Without being there, it's hard to describe the beauty.

Weathered rock formations everywhere.

There were several information boards like this around the Cul de sac at the end of the road.

Breath taking!

Biglefti in a nice sweeper.  The speed limit in the canyon was 35.  I think he may have been pushing it a little :-)

This rock looks like a puzzle that had been put together.

The visitor center.  We had to go in and show our "old people" passes to get into the National Park.

Utah Lighthouse.  I think the closest water is Salt Lake.

Arches Cafe in Beaver, UT.  Nice Salmon salad.  The "meal of the day"

Afternoon on I-70. Almost to Richfield where we'll gas up and get motel for the night.  Stay tuned for tomorrow's shots. :-)  Lanny (Biglefti) is just adding about 30 pictures to his blog of today.  You can see them at:
