Getting a different bike

Lanny showing off his new Nike Fitness watch.  Very cool!

Brought the pickup down for Kingman just to make a trip to North Phoenix to pick up a bike to replace the one that was stolen

The bike was everything the owner said it was.  Lots of nice upgrades.

The visitor center in Gila Bend has a very nice gift shop.

First ride was a visit out to see "the girls".  It's near the Border, the road is loose rocks and sand, not good for our little car, so it's nice to have a dirt bike again

In the desert, the bike is fine.  1360 easy mile on it when I picked it up. Large capacity gas tank, Had new Dual Sport tires, Stainless steel complete exhaust system, Moose Racing hand guards and Pro-Tech grips.  large foot pegs, mirrors, Gel seat cushion, handlebar risers, Spitfire windshield.  Came with all the original stock parts.

Redd rode with me on his TW200.  While I drilled new holes, filled them with Silione, and installed the flags, he was busy repainting the letters.  Thanks to Zever in Canada for supplying the nice new  Canadian flag. This cemetary was started 30 some years ago.  It's close to the Mexian border, on the Quechan Reservation.  Hard to find unless you know it's there.

All American Canal.  Water taken from the Colorado River.  It was dug by hand with picks and shovels, and mule teams.  24 hours a day until it was finished.  Runs from North of Yuma pretty much along the Mexican Border, through the Imperial Valley and ends near El Centro, California.
