Spring in Yuma! We

21 Feb 12.  This mornings paper.  Lookin' good!

Patriotic Petunias, Avenue B and 1st Street

Neighbor Katie is doing homework and getting all "browned up"

This 33' Trailer is for sale here in the park.  2003 Montana.  It's in excellent condition.  The asking price is 15K, but that's negotiable.

It has 2 slides, bedroom and living room.  All aluminum construction

It's roomy inside, and very livable.  Would be easy to tow too, or just leave it in the park

It's well equipped, and everything goes with it.

Today Jim & Katie get half of their new driveway poured!

The truck is here!

Using a wheel barrow to move the cement to the back.

First load goes down!

Our water heater sprung a leak underneath, so the replacement is in the box.  Will get that done later today.

Jim says this is his "anti-Canadian" finish job.  "Non-Skid" (only vroc people will understand this:-)  It was soon smoothed out.  The next section will be poured on Thursday.
Today is the annual pig roast, jam, and potluck in the park.  Jerry and his crew have been up since 4AM preparing this piggy.

This area will be full of musicians later this afternoon

Mesquite, charcoal, and air adjustment..Jerry has it all down for the perfect pork

Julie went down to the Ramada  here in the park to help with the pictures.  Now, it's back to the water heater project
After 9 hours of turning on the spit, the Mesquite piggy is ready to  eat!

Jim & Katie ate a little pork, it's on their diet.  Pat was there taking pictures, but came home when they started serving, I had to be here finishing up the water heater job.  These 2 lovely people brought us each a HUGE plate full of potluck treats and roast pork.  Thank you, thank you!  We're totally Blessed to have neighbors like this!

Rene, whom some of the vroc'er has met, its always the life of a party!  A fun lady!

Katie's first professional picture that will be in an Art Show this weekend.  And, it has our bikes in it!  An abstract of sorts taken through a window of old glass.  It's VERY, VERY, nice!
A long hard day!  The 20 gallon water heater was installed at the factory, then the trailer sort of built around it.  And, it was bolted to the floor as well as strapped to the top where you couldn't get to the bolts holding it in. And, all the piping was placed in front of it, so it all had to be cut out before we could remove the tank. The new one is in and working!
