Dale & Ev was going to see an eye doc, so we went with them.  Pat needed some new lenses too.  We make a stop to see Jose.  Ev is showing her pre-lunch snack.

Of course we had to eat at my favorite place in Algodones.  The food has already been consumed :-)

Pinatas on the street

1st street and Avenue B.  The Shaw Carpet Factory is less than a mile from our park. Their flowers are always beautiful.

The Thursday night Jazz program at the Palms Mall was a trio from San Diego.  They were totally excellent!  This is the NPR guy getting ready to tape the program.  They broadcast them on Saturday afternoons, 10 days after the program.

It was in the high 70's when the program started at 6 PM, but by 7, the temperature was going down fast.  

This chair began it's useful life on a street in Cortez, Colorado, providing a seat for Jamey to watch a parade.  It's been well traveled since then :-)  I think Melony's is in Kingman with Skid and Sandy's :-)  (vroc people will understand this)

The Bass player was the leader.  They also had a very good drummer, but I didn't get him in the picture.
