Moving Aug 8th, 2011

Out of order, but totally tired, so will just post these anyway.  This is our back yard in the Coos Bay house.  We'll miss the green.

Pat did a lot of work land scaping and maintaining the place
Natural trees, Rhody's and Huckleberries.  We kept it clean but it was all native plants growing.

We originally have a big wooden deck, but after 20 years it rotted away, so we replaced it with the bricks and rocks.

Bad wreck on Hwy 46.  One Hwy Patrol car involved, a big truck and a few other cars.

Slowed down traffic for awhile

Debris all over the road

CHIP car on the trailer

I couldn't stop, just snapped a few shots going by

Sunrise coming up just West of Barstow, CA.

I discovered the U-Haul was governed.  Anything this and it would shut down.  First time I happened I thought something was wrong, but soon figured out it just didn't want to go any faster.  We were a little over 28K pounds gross with the truck and trailer.

Cactus fruit is about ripe.  Time to make some jelly! This is in the Kingman place we sometimes stay in.

Alreadyt unloaded the trailer and turned it in.  Leaving the truck here until morning

Skid's favorite baby tree.  He left some DNA on it a couple of times :-)

All put away for the night

Don't know why this pictures are together.  The entry way to the new house

Ooops, here's the entry way

A Bistro set which we'll buy from the lady that's moving, and a shake charmer basket

The blog is acting weird, pictures out of order, and smaller than usual.  Oh Well, I'm not going to change it.  This is in front of the house just before I was ready to pull out on Monday evening.

We hired help to put the stuff in the truck.  Pat and I packed it all.  She did most of the work.

It was a big job

We'll miss our little house.  It's been a good place to live

Had to fill the hole where the bike lift was in the garage.  I'm leavin some things in here, but took out a LOT

Dining room and kitchen looks empty. Because they are

Living room almost ready.  Leaving all the window coverings

The pellet stove kept us warm for many years

The bedroom/office.  All furniture is gone, put this camping table up for the computer until we leave

The bedroom looks different

My bathroom with the skylight Pat has instaled

Ready to head out of town.  Around 4:30 PM on Monday the 8th

Maybe a repeat

We'll live in the Minnie when I get back.  Will ride a Greyhound bus home
