Yuma, June 1, 2014

We got to Yuma late afternoon on May 31, 2014.  This was in shade on our patio/porch.  114.  Pretty warm.

We have one small A/C in our house here.  Marlys' motorchome has 2 larger units.  She gave us permission to stay in her nice little home while we're here.  Will give her unit some exercise and will be easier to keep us cool.  Thanks Marlys.

Was up at 5 AM.  Went to our shop and worked on bicycles awhile with coffee and birds singing away. And a visit from one of the park Kittycats.  Went to breakfast at 7 to Copper Miner Kitchen.  Amber is back as a hostess until there is enough business to put her back on the floor.  After eating we were on our way to Walmart for some things and passed this sign on 4th Street.  Going to be a warm one!

Early Sunday Morning.  the park is so peaceful.  Birds are singing..and we heard chickens before daylight.  Lots of them in and around the park.

The recreation field, and a golf green right behind Joe and Susan's place.  Acord's on the left, then Jim and Katie's, then Jerry's, the park Music man.  He sings and plays and organizes park Jams.  Then a transit, and Joe and Susan's on the right corner.  Rolle's Lynda Vista RV.

Pat and I bottle fed this little girl when she was about a week old, until she was eating on her own at about a month.  She's now almost 5 months old, and a bundle of energy.  She definitely remembers Pat.

That little tail is going about 90 mph!  Just a little faster and she'd be airborne!
