Left Kingman this morning after meeting up with 6 other people from the "Brunch Bunch". A riding group of friends that have planned rides every week |
All Route 66 todayt. We're rolling through Seligman. We had made a short rest stop in Peach Springs, but I forgot to take a picture |
For many years there was an Edsel parked in front of this place. With Elvis and "Peggy Sue" sitting on the rear bumper. Recently some car plowed into it and totalled it out. Too bad. |
Heading out of Seligman, will be taking Crookton Road to Ash Fork for lunch |
After a nice lunch at the Rancho Cafe in Ash Fork, we're back in Siligman for gas and a visit to the A&W. The ride had 4 Harleys and 2 Gold Wings. One Harley and One Wing was a trike. |
Enjoying the rest stop |
It was breezy today, but the temps were nice for riding. Jacket weather. Won't be long and we'll leave the jackets off until November! |
Gas, food, clean restrooms, AND the A&W inside here |
Across the street |
Famous place to eat, but not a favorite of the locals. |
Harley is the group organizer. There are no dues, no officers, no written rules or organization. Sort of like VROC :-) Just nice people getting together when they can for a ride |
Dave and Harley. Since it was only about 30 minutes from a late breakfast, I passed on the goodies today |
Next weekend is the Route 66 Fun Run. This will be a busy place |
Last stop of the day, at Hackberry Store. This was a nice ride, looking forward to more with these people. |
