Kenny the "Bad Biker Dude" getting ready for a little ride up to the top of the Hualapai Mountain.

Didn't know the restaurant and store was closed on Tuesday, but we enjoyed their patio anyway.  About 15 degrees cooler up here than it is in Kingman

Little Hummingbird right in the middle of the picture.

Old garage and gas station at Peach Springs.  The Government has given this to the local Indian Tribe, it will be turned into an Artisan studio and gift shop soon

Ed, Carl, and I rode to Seligman this morning.  On the way back we stopped here in Truxton for a cold drink and a visit with the burros

A coincidence.  Just yesterday our good friend Joe Blanc in Colorado, just bought a bike this same color year and model.  Today this was parked in front of the Barber shop I go too.  Just had to take this for "Malachi"

Rode to Oatman this afternoon.  Was showing Kenny Fish Bowl Springs.  He got most of the way to the top, at least far enough to see some water, then headed down

We followed old Route 66 for about 30 miles over the mountains.  Kenny sporting his Arizona Leathers.  It was well over a hundred degrees out here when I took this picture.

A very nice couple from Paris, France.  On a 60 day vacation, with extended travel over the Western part of the US. Enjoyed talking to them..Very limited French/English, but we managed to carry on a converstaion. This is in the Cold Springs store.

Kenny and I heading up the mountain after a Diet Dew.

No signs or markings for this year round spring. I made it up far enough to look down to see there are still fish in it.  And, lots of honey bees flying around.  A good place for rattle snakes too, but didn't see any

Kenny making a "bee line" down to his bike

A famous Hotel. Passed on the good ice cream they serve in here today

We have pictures of this little guy when he was just a few days old.  He's very healthy and follows his White Mother around in the streets. They are wild, so spend time in the desert too.

Not a lot of people in town today. One thermometer was reading 104 in the shade

On July 4th, the little town has a contest to see who can fry the nicest egg on the sidewalk.  Always a lot of entrants.  They can't use anything except natural sun for a heat source. but use foil, griddles, and pans to cook them in.

The little air cooled XT's got pretty hot going up the mountain, but did a fine job as always
It has cooled off to 93 degrees by 6 PM, so Pat, Thelma, Kenny and I rode out to the Crazy Horse Store for a cold drink and some visiting in the shade

Connie, the store owner, had just left for the day.  It's a fun place to sit outside and have a pop or something

Two large cats took a liking to Pat.  They must have thought she was going to feed them

Still in the 90's, and it's almost 7 PM

Kenny has nice legs!
