Toa's visit 15 April 13

We had lunch at "Grandpa's".   Nice little Greasy Spoon.

Since Toa has a Burgman 650, just like this one, we thought it was fitting that he put some miles on Route 66.  Pat and I drove his rental car, so Alan and Ali could ride the Scoot.

Only in the mid 70's today, with some wind.  Had to dodge a few tumbleweeds on the way out.

Ali out snapping a few pictures.  Because of a time limit, we didn't take them on the whole tour of the property.  They needed to be at the Lodge at the Grand Canyon before dark, so was important to get moving.

A short visit while we waited until Kenny and Thelma arrived. Also with us was our VROC friends Ed and Carl Anderson. 

I forgot to take my camera, so my pictures with taken with the phone, and didn't turn out very good. Some of the better ones were taken with Lanny's new pocket Nikon.
Didn't get any of Ed and Carl, they didn't make the ride.  The only disappointment of the day was lack of good pictures, but in reality, it was a GREAT DAY!
