This guy walks and talks. A bar owner from Colorado bought him today at the Swap meet.
You never know what you'll see out here. ET was trying to go home, but got canned instead.
New Bar Stool racer. 250 screaming engine. Disk brake, and a race ready engine. Retail $3500! But, you can have this one today for $1000. Hmmm, I could be King of the RV park with one of these!
Lovey Doves on our back fence this morning.
The end. At 10 AM, I sold all this stuff to the vendor next door for $50, hauled the trailer out, and we're finished with the garage/yard/swapmeet sale!
Rode with our new friends, Kenny and Thelma, to the Hackberry Store.
Kenny likes Sacagawea.
In the Soda Fountain
Nice truck. Noticed things have been cleaned up a lot since the last time we were out here.
Will be here again on Monday with Toa and Ali. Maybe we can show them a snake or two :-)
Kenny just fed the local Burro a carrot
Kenny and Thelma heading for the Sauna. Looks like a Utah Road sign.
Pat had a carrot too. Don't know this Burro's name, but he's a little more gentle than "Charlie" down in Gadsden.
Nice old Dodge
Fine looking bikes! We're happy to have found another couple to ride with. Pat has put more miles on the Switchback than she has on the last 3 or 4 bikes I've owned :-)
With just a little Bondo and paint, this could be a real jewel
Windy today, we had been dodging tumble weeks all the way. This small one made impact, there was oncoming traffic and I couldn't dodge to miss it. Tough critters!
I expect we'll be seeing a lot of these folks on this blog in the coming months.
Same vendor that that had the Bar stool racer was selling this. I bundled it with a pair of Tony Llama Ostrich boots. Not a bad day :-)
