Early April 13

Our friend Redd.  Made a quick trip back to Yuma to get from things we forgot, and to bring the Scooter back to Kingman.  Red is recovering from a few minor surgeries he's had recently, and is doing real well.

Wide streets in Old Town

All the two wheeled rolling stock made it home to the barn.

Custormer at our yard sale. This guy has been carrying his bird around for 20 years!

Kawasaki Drifter.  Belongs to a Winter vendor that works in Quartzsite.  He' s now n his way home to Idaho

He's hauling the bike in a trailer, but stays in Yuma a few days to check out garage sales and antique stores for his stock.

We put out a few items.  Neighbor across the street had a sign up, so we took advantage to pick up a few of his customers.  Didn't sell much, but met some interesting people, and, a very nice couple that we know will become close friends.

Dave and Romy stopped for a short visit and lunch.  They live in Calgary, BC, but spend a lot of time here in Arizona.

Rome rides a nice Vulcan Classic. They put in over 500 miles on these bikes just yesterday.

They made it to Laughlin, on the banks of the Colorado River last night. Came up here this morning. David has this very pretty Kawasaki Vaquero

After a visit to the Cracker Barrel, they are headed back to Phoenix.

We just found out that every Thursday there is a Jam her in Kingman.  About 15 or so musicians, and, unlike Yuma, a lot of the croud danced.

We've seen this couple a some different Jams in Yuma

Pat and I just got home from a shopping trip to Walmart, and found her brother, Richard in our back yard.  He prefers his queen sized Kwik Kamp bed to our guest room :-)

All it needs is a motor!

I set up at a local swap meet this morning.  This was at the vendor next to me.  Had to smell this cooking all day.

Friday afternoon.  When I got home from the swap meet, I took a little ride to check gas mileage on the XT, since I put on a new front sprocket.  And, checked the speedo with the gps. 68 mpg, a little disappointing, had got in the 70's before.  A head wind was probably the problem.  Speedo is only 1.5 mph off now.  Runs good, but will check the valves and give it a super tune next week.

Minnie in front of our Yuma house.  We're packing to leave for the season, neighbors drop by to say their good-byes.

Pat's brother, Richard.  He's checking in at home.

Friday morning.  Rich woke up with a toothache, so he decided to ride home , back to Santa Rosa, CA, to try and get into his Dentist on Monday.

Got out the old Crusher hat to wear at the sunny swap meet today

The majority of the vendors AND customers were "packing" out here today. This is Arizona.  Perfectly leagle.

Started here, but moved to a booth where I can sell tomorrow as well as today. Got rid of a lot of stuff. Hey, Skid and Slammer..recognize the plate on the pickup?

Lots of sizes and shapes

Castle Dome.  Preston, Karen and Ronda should remember this place!
