Morning of the 19, and maybe a few more days

Steven (Rogue), Jim (Wrongturn), Katie (KT) and Pat.  Picked some tree ripened tangelos and made a couple couple quarts of fresh juice to go with Pat's huge breakfast casserole.   With a skillet full of fried potatoes, toast and banana bread.  I forgot to take a picture until everyone had finished eating :-)

Everyone has tablets, smart phones, and there was a couple of laptops too.  Lots of wireless signals zooming around in there.  

Since Dave has to go out occasionally to "check his tires" (smoke) the guys went out to keep in company.  A chilly morning!

No one is in a big hurry.  We had a pleasant morning.

The large 2000 cc Vulcan is ready to roll.  A huge motorcycle. Most of the general public thinks that Harleys are BIG bikes.  This thing dwarfs any of them :-)  

A long ride ahead of them to Borrego Springs, CA.  In the Desert West of the Salton Sea.

Dave said this is a 747.  It was low and flying what seemed like dangerously slow.  Unusual to see one around here.  This was flying over the park we live in.
