Dec 4th

We were invited to the River Front RV for breakfast today.  It was excellent!  Lots of antiques, and friendly people.  Plenty of good food, but I at 4 eggs only.  None of the "good stuff"  The gravy looked "to die for", but not ready for that yet.

One of several older bicycles hanging around

Huge mallot.  Anyone know what this could have been used for?  Looks like one on those they had in the carnivals, but it must have had another use.

The garage is right on the bank of the Colorado River.  We're within a stone's throw of Mexico here.

Our "other" tree.  Doesn't look like much in the sunshine, but it's beautiful at night.  Brilliant lights!

Some of the locals.  We're in down town Old Town this morning

Found 3 stores with some very interesting greeting cards.  From now on, I know where to go for cards!  This store is owned by the Bard Date Company

One of the better ones

And one Pat especially liked :-)

The table is wider than the door.  You wouldn't believe how long it took her to figure out she had to tilt it to get it inside.

Old town used to be Booming!.  But, changes in business, the growth of the Foothills, and lack of people this year has made it very slow. Too bad, it's a great place to look at some real history

First Farmers Market of the season down here. There are several others in the city now, so this isn't as crowded as it used to be

Lots of nice produce

There are lots of vendors besides farm products. And, there was some mighty good smelling food being cooked too

These people are from our park.  They are getting the full demo from this young lady.

This Deli does a huge business when the Historic Theater next door has an event.

Not a street, and alley with small shops

Too funny!

Mid Town

They have live Jazz in here, and other entertainment all Year round

Restored 1950's store.  There are several similar along here

Chicken and Waffles?  Sounds like Lolo's in Phoenix

Downstairs to Red's Birdcage Saloon
Marlys and Pat

Front entrance to Lutes

Back entrance to Lutes

Good Food at "Da Boyz"
We decided on Julieannas for dinner.  Parrots and Peacocks wander the outside dining area.

The birds are free to fly around inside the atrium

Purty Bird

Nice color

The inside is very nice.  We've been here a few other times, but this is the first time this year

Nice Santa!

I think we saw this guy in Solvang, CA

Decorated house and sunset

It's a little early, but Yuma residents go all out to decorate.  The week before Christmas will be very beautiful.

Sunset in the Walmart parking lot.  We needed to stop for a few groceries on the way home.

Swordfish. A light orange and red pepper sauce.  My nice low carb selection.
