March 8th, and through the weekend

Jana Jae.  One of the best!  The First Lady of Country Fiddling!
http://www.janajae.com/  We spent the afternoon with her today!  What a performer!!
Jana sat in on the "Jam", and made everyone sound good! :-)  This couple is from Canada,  most of the performers were Snowbirds, a large percentage from North of the Border.  Thank you, Canadians, for helping support our Veterans.

Two Outstanding groups on the same day!  Read the Profiles on these guys!  We just had the Trio last night, but they were too good to try and describe!

The Trio that came to Yuma.  It was one of those evenings that left you wanting more.  Sometimes we leave at intermission, but not tonight!

Always faithful, this employee of National Public Radio attends the performances.  They are broadcast over the local station on the following Saturday afternoon.

Billy Hawkins, recently retired College Professor, has a mile long resume.

Wrong Turn & KT attended the Jazz.  Unusual to see them in helmets.  But, Jim is still wearing short pants and sandals. :-)
Redd has been doing a lotof work in the "garden"

A swing, and many new plants.  The River Rock was just added.  One wheel barrow load at a time.

Old Adobe wall covered with interesting items from the past

This is the growing season, and everything is very healthy looking.

Redd's parents home in El Centro is much the same with antiques like these.

Still in progress.  Changes all the time, doubt if it will ever be finished

Another of several seating areas.  There is always someplace to sit in the shade.

There's a small Fig tree back there that already has  some new fruit on it.

Sunflowers are getting tall

Most of the different kinds of cactus were started from small shoots

A Gecko basking in the sun.  Waiting for something to eat.

80 degrees in the deep shade of the side porch

People gathering for the Friday night "Sing" in the Bard Community Building
This is the Stage

Some of the musicians are soloists, others just play along...

Jim Adams.  A many talented man

Bonnie Adams.  Song leader, singer, guitar player, and happy person!

Always a good variety.  You never know who will be there

Magic fingers.  Jim also play trumpet, and other instruments, as well as sings.

A poor ostrich gave up it's life for these boots....

Every week, there is a short devotional at the Sing.  Usually Sam does it, but Jim took his place tonight since Sam has another obligation.

Jim and Bonnie end the evening with a Happy Song

Raymond has been leading the Sing for 25 years!  He just celebrated his 75th wedding anniversary a couple weeks ago!

We've been going to The Mad Chef for several years.  Sometimes we have as many as 20, but people are already starting to bail out of Yuma.  And, there were several other activities going on it town tonight, so it's our little group from the park.  Amber, is always our waitress, she is close to perfect as a server.

Amber is sporting some new nails tonight.   She's alway fun, and usually has something going on in her live that she shares with us.
