More July 2019 RV Camping

Tootsie is anticipating her first RV Camping trip.

Waiting for parts.  Hope I can remember how it all goes back together

Hoping these clouds would bring in some badly needed water.  They didn't.

Craig, Imelda and 14 year old Cody.  Our neighbors in Kingman,  We'll be 5500-6000 feet elevation,  Hoping for some cooler weather.  It wasn't.  Much.

Tootsie and her favorite friend.  She seems to be enjoying the little Minnie RV.

Saturday evening at the KOA in Seligman.
The College Trails caravan

Catching some shade.  Pat's right hand is still unusable, but she's been doing fine.

She likes playing in the dirt.  We're "dog sitting" Tootsie for our friend Thelma.

Not the best KOA, but, not the worse either.

3 Dogs and 4 people

Tootsie and Cody ended up being good friends

Imelda is an excellent cook.  She put together a much better than average campsite dinner.  Everything was delicious.  Pat did provide Homemade Lemon ice cream with cake and cookies.

Sunrise Sunday morning. From her Perch.

Delgado's Snow Cap in Seligman

Angel Delgado's Barber Shop and Gift Shop in Seligman

There used to be a '58 Edsel parked here, with Elvis sitting on the rear bumper.  A car took it out in the middle of the night a few years ago.  A shame.

Biker hangout

Lilo's West is our favorite place to eat here in Seligman.  Excellent menu, good portions, and nice people work there.  The owners are fine folks, lots of Route 66 tour groups stop here, and are always treated well.

Lots of Dinosaurs hang out around the Grand Canyon Caverns

Getting set up in some shade.

Every September there is a big Bike Event here.  Live music and entertainment here on the state.  The concrete structure in the background is a HUGE BBQ grill.  All spaces are already reserved, as well as motel rooms here at the Caverns.

We had our choice of spaces in the park.  49 with hook ups, unlimited dry camping and tent space.  Well kept, with clean restrooms and showers.

Tootsie thought this was her swimming pool.  It was Doggy water until she contaminated with with her dirty little feet.

Craig was feeling a little Peckish, so Imelda fixed him up this little low calorie snack until dinner.

Old Cowboy having his morning coffee.  Saddle on the fence behind him.  Squash blossoms all over the ground.

Sun up Monday morning.  The Breakfast provided opened from 5 to 10 AM.  We got there early.  I was above average for a motel and RV park in this price range.  We were pleased.

Hiding in the bushes!

Sun came up, guess we can get the day going now

Ready to jump back on Route 66.  We'll be passing through the Reservation town of Peach Springs, then Truxton, Valentine, Hackberry, and on to Kingman.  An enjoyable and  "No Mechanical Problems" weekend.  We'll do it again.
