Almost ready to roll

Hiway 95 going North.  I was only able to go about 25 miles with the others,   Today was Pat's Annual Hospice Volunteer Luncheon.  She was awarded a 6 year pin for her work here in Yuma.

This wild lady is taking off her clothes!

What a face!  Seeing that smile makes you feel good all over!

Jim likes it too!

Fun by the Big Gun!

Susan is happy the sun came out.  We are too!  In this morning's paper, it was noted that Yuma has more sunny days than any other place in the US.  The nights can be cool, but it eventually warms up every day.

Couple of long guns at the entry to the US Army Proving Grounds.  Those babies have a 20 mile range.  Some of the "good 'ol boys" use them for deer hunting down here. A little tough dragging them around in the desert, but they are effective.

Susan practicing her Flamingo stance.

Katie is ready for the desert.

I'm on the way back now.  Lots of farm land. some crops just planted, some just harvested, and some in the process of harvest.  It goes on and on here where there is a 12 month growing season.

Several different kinds of lettuce is grown here.  During the mid winter, Yuma County provides lettuce to the entire country.

A week ago, this field was being harvested.  Next week, it will be planted and the next crop will be growing.
It was a short 50 some mile ride for me this morning.  But nice anyway.
