Sunday morning, getting ready for a VROC ride to Martinez Lake |
"Wrong Turn" had on his usual short pants when he went to gas up this morning. After he came back, on went the long pants and his heavy riding jacket. It's a chilly 66 degrees out |
Romy & Pat are going to ride in the red car. |
Only 50 some miles, and we arrive at Rio Loco |
Dave, Romy, Jim, Katie, Susan, Joe, Pat, and guests Don and Mary Helen. |
All Vulcan motorcycles today, except for two token Harleys |
Inside Fisher's Landing, the Bar and Grill is named Rio Loco (Crazy River) |
Stand up to order from a limited menu. The food is GREAT |
Since the temp got up to 70, we decided to eat outside |
There is more of a "fine dining" restaurant up here at the Lake, but this place is a favorite |
If this is right, some of us will live a long time |
Perusing the menu |
A green chili cheese burger. Actually, this is the small one. Some of the guys had the BIG one. |
Dave, Romy, and Badger |
Christmas came early! |
Jim and Katie surprised us with some VERY nice packages. Since most of us will be going separate ways on Christmas day, they chose this ride to play Santa Claus |
Badger and Zmean1 dig in |
Katie and Jim had some very fun and useful items in our bags |
For the Charter Members of the Sonoran VROC Chapter! Are these cool!!!!! |
This will be a favorite decoration for all year! Not just Christmas! |
Sonoran VROC, plus Don. |
Mr. and Mrs. Claus |
Dave and Romy bought a new fire pit this morning. This is the shake down cruise for it. |
Dave looks like a "Contented Canadian" |
They are getting settled right in to this retirement living! |
KT and Pebbles. The fire keeps the chill off. And Jim is back into his shorts. This was the 1st Day of Winter. From now on the days get longer! |
