Our good friend, Marlys.  We're taking her to Gila Bend today.  She's meeting up with her ride to Phoenix, the first part of a trip to  spend Thanksgiving with family in Houston, TX.

Fighting over who's gonna pick up the lunch tab.

What's Hee-Luh Bend without a Gila Monster?  This one will do.

Gets a little warm down here in Dateland.  This is something new. A cool, secure place for your pet, so you can go inside and shop, eat, and have a Date Shake.  They have a misting system and fans to keep the animals cool.

RV's park here at night, free dry camping.  There are several Date Palm Groves that produce a lot of fruit.

Back in Yuma. The American Legion has music every Thursday, with a  nice menu of LARGE dinners.  Also fresh vegetables and baked goods, take what you want, and donate what you can.  We stop by when we can.  Tonight the music was very good!  Pat and I shared a shrimp dinner, more than enough for both of us.
