July 24, starting North Trip

Our first stop of the trip.  Pat had a hair appointment, so we stopped on the way out of town.

The barber/beauty shop..it gave me time to get everything ready, since we left in a hurry

Our first night.  In a nice old Orange grove.  Lots of green fruit on the trees.  When it's ride, guest are allowed  to pick what they want to eat there.

Pretty park.  Several pieces of antique farm equipment and this tourist town.   They had a nice pool and spotless clean restrooms

Kate's Place next to the bar!  Hmmm, was this KT in another life?

We'll remember this place, would like to come back

This is on Hwy 99.  Always a nice place to stop

Nice deli.  They have a court yard restaurant, and LOTs of interesting things here

Took about a hundred pictures of food and things..used some restraint and didn't post many :-)

Nothing runs like a Deere!

$150 bucks and the seat could be yours!

Dozens of different canned foods here.  All looks good

Looks like a fun cook book

OK, the last of these I'll post

Floor of a little open air bar and grill.  For years, this floor was completely covered with copper pennies,  set with epoxy.
Last year, people were chipping them out, and it was too time consuming to keep it looking good, so they took it out...too bad.

I think this rig came from Oklahoma on Route 66.  This is as far as it got

Fresh California Fruit stand

Cow seat

Ice Cream parlor, cheese factory, BBQ stand, fruit stand, deli (2) and antique and tourist stuff.  Fun place

The Gas Station store at Bravo Farm

We did pick up a few things, and Pat had ice cream

I-80, jus Northeast of the Oakland-San Francisco Bay bridge.  This is the  conservative,  quaint, little village of Berkeley, California

A pretty Marina off Hwy 101 in Sonoma, County.  This is about a mile from Howard (Nitelite's)  house.
Home for the 2nd night.  Pat's brother just sold his 36' long  5th wheel.  He's in the garage with the new owner, installing the hitch in the guys pickup.  The house is on Mountain Shadows Golf Course in Rohnert Park,  When the 5th wheel is gone (very soon) We'll be able to park in the drive way.
