Preston putting on his new Jacket liner.  We're heading out on the bikes for the West End of the Canyon.  Meadview and Roger's Market.

After the ride, we walked around Old Town Kingman

Dinner at El Palacio.  Very old building, good food

Hot, fresh, Sopapillas, served with French Vanilla Ice Cream

A small Sampler Plate.  Yum, Yum!
April 11th, 2012.  Karen in the early morning sun.  Carolyn & Craig's place in Casa Grande, AZ.  We spent the night here in their beautiful home.

Carolyn made up these "sticky buns" last night, and cooked this morning.  Hot and fresh!

Karen & Preston enjoying the 7 AM sun and drinking their coffee.

Craig has a green thumb.  His gardens are full of  happy plants!

This is the 3rd time this dove has used her nest in a Lemon tree. She's on eggs now, and didn't seem the least bit afraid to have her picture taken.

Pool and hot tub in their back yard

Pat & I spent the night in their motor home.  It was very comfortable

Carolyn & Craig, their pretty little dogs, and their home.  Friends of Karen and Preston.  We really enjoyed meeting them and enjoying their company last night.

Ceramics in Gila Bend.  We stopped here for milk shakes on the way to Yuma

A little country store off Interstate 8.  We were stepping back a few years in here.

You need to watch were you park in Arizona

A little of everything offered here

The club house

This place was in business when gas was 32 cents a gallon.

Pat, Preston, Redd, and Karen at the historic Apache Hotel grounds.

Always see something new at Redd's

Redd hires this person to do some manual labor when needed.

In the Wetlands park in Yuma.  The Palo Verde trees are in full bloom now

Quartzsite is almost empty of snowbirds, and several businesses are closed until next Fall.  This restaurant will be open only 2 more days.  We are on our way back to Kingman, stopped here for a late lunch.  Had planned on Stone Cabin, but Randy has packed up and gone back to Washington State to work the Fair and Rodeo circuit for the Summer.  Will have to wait until next October for another of his good hamburgers.
