Sandy, Don (Bassman) and Skid. We just had to have a Wal-Mart fix. This is the Super Center in Berryville, Arkansas

Skid and Coyote (John Shreve) checking out Beaver Lake at the Dam Site.

Registration for the rally, and the selling of raffle and 50/50 tickets.

Sherm got a little water under his bike when he went by some water out of a sprinkler. He had to polish off the under side of the Wing before anyone saw the water spots.

What our crew does best...Ice Cream! Don (Bassman), Mark Hicks, Skid and Sandy.

Wal-Mart had a lot of Fall Flowers out front, I had to take a few pics, but will only post one

Teri Conrad is loading her ride gear in Lucky Al's trunk. they are getting ready to head out on a 200 mile ride with a large group of VROC bikes.

Flip will ride sweep, and Al will lead the ride of the day.

Chuck (Mac Guy) rode out from Seattle for the rally.

Jim Ayers has changed his riding gear since buying a Gold Wing

Cycle Gadgets is a very large warehouse and a nice show room . Located on Highway 187 near Beaver Lake, it's about 12 mile from ES. They have a large supply of motorcycle communication equipment, as well as other things.

Dueling Camers! Seems like Stewey and I always end up with a similar picture when we get together.

Lucky Al and Stewey. Stewey says, "mine is bigger than yours"

Coyote and Skid. "Salt of the Earth" VROC people.

It's always at treat to see Six Pack Jack roll into a rally. The is a real Gentleman.........when he wants to be

Bike are starting to line up in front of the rooms at the Iron Horse. Staging for the ride of the day.

We had a full Buffet breakfast at the Ramada in Branson. Came with the room. Excellent food, too. And with a fresh USA Today newspaper. We enjoyed it all.
Jim Ayers, Charlie, then, Mac Guy meets Lucky Al.

Wrong Turn...Jim Ayers.

Charlie (CC Rider)

Cassy and Cuddles, getting ready to leave on the ride of the day.

Skid is blogging again http://skid1850.blogspot.com But...........there's 2 of him!

When I arrived at the VROC registration booth at the Iron Horse this morning, this lady was there with her trusty traveling companion. The Chihuahua ride in a back pack. Sorry, I don't know your name yet, but will by the time the rally is over!

The early morning workers. Moon is holding training meetings

Lucky Al is our ride leader this year. Would you let this guy get you lost in the Ozarks?

On the way to Branson to meet Skid and Sandy. I'm standing in Missouri here, and the bike is in Arkansas! Blue eye is located in both states. Population is 38 full time residents.

Place of an old business in Blue Eye. Every year, the population is going down instead of up in this fine little town.

Skid and Sandy arrived 3 minutes before they said they would arrive. They left Bethel, Maine on Sunday, riding with Tom Miller. They had lunch with Tom and Denise yesterday in Kentucky, and got in here at 1:27 on Wednesday. That Honda 90 dirt bike he ride makes good time. Within 30 seconds of arriving, he's on my little Toshiba trying to figure out why my FI light is on We had a great lunch, a fun ride, visited the School of the Ozarks and an old grain Mill, rode around Table Rock lake, and cruised the 76 Strip. This is out motel.

This dam is 50 miles from Tulsa. In 1923, horses and wagons were used to haul the dirt to build it. The water is very clear, and was sent in pipes and canals all the way to Tulsa for their water supply. The lake is about 14 miles long behind it. It's in a beautiful location.

We walked a LONG way up to the top of the dam. Looking down into the lake on the other side, you can see hundreds of fish of different kinds. Some are pretty large.

We had an 'above average' lunch here today. the meat was extremely tender and tasty. OK, Texans! I think the ribs were maybe better than Coopers!

Since we had a lot of miles left to make, we just had light lunches.

A man and his companion. A beautiful Catoosa, Oklahoma morning. Squirrels were playing in the trees, birds were singing, and life is good.
