| Left Kingman at 7:30 AM, Now in the Shady Lady RV at Barstow, CA. Strong head wind all the way. Started the day by checking out a motorcycle I was interested in down in Fort Mohave. Then on to Needles and I-40 to Barstow. Visited some Outlet Mall stores, Walmart, then checked into this nice little park. |

| Still windy, lots of dust in the air. We're settled in for the night. They say the wind will subside around 11 PM. We won't wait up to see if the wx man is right. |

| Next door is a 2 screen drive in Theater. Open every night, 7 days a week at sunset. Not many of these left in the country. We're still close to The Mother Road. |

| Brought "Rolling Thunder". Will need transportation while we're parked in Oregon. Tomorrow we attend the annual Bluegrass Festival in the Old Historic Mining town of Chloride, near Yermo, CA. |
