NC 700 XD Honda. Found it in Las Vegas, did a little work on it, seems road worthy.
This blog isn't any one subject. I got way behind, not going to try and catch up. Facebook keeps up with what we've been doing, but I'll add a few pictures and comments here.. Thelma, Pat, and I had some Arby's coupons, so we went out and enjoyed them.

Richard, Pat's brother. Came to visit a couple days. His daughter and son in Law had an airplane function down here in Laughlin, end of a race. They were the major players in setting up for the awards and the social part.

March 19th, Lanny and I rode out in the rain. A 4 day, 3 night trip, destination the Moki Dugway and other sites in Southern Utah.

Where we live, you don't see people wearing rain and cold weather gear much. It's a good thing we still had some

Inside Lilo's West in Seligman. We rode out 80 some miles on Route 66 to have lunch here. Lanny had already put in a couple hundred miles on his way to pick me up in Kingman. This little girl showing us her Cowgirl belt buckle.

Very wet and cold. This was the arrival at our 7300 feet in elevation motel in Flagstaff. We thought this was cold. As the days went on, we saw a low of 29, lots of 30's.

After lunch in Kayenta, AZ, Lanny decided he deserved some Navajo Fry Bread with Ice cream and the works. It disappeared in a hurry. We were still soaked, and the wind was gusting to the 40 mph

I've been through Monument Valley several times. Usually it's too hot. Not today.

Morning at the San Juan Inn, on the bank of the River in the City of Mexican Hat, UT

Old Motel, but it's where I've stayed when traveling through here.

The Meandering River is usually full of silt, which tends up cut the land. Here are 3 horseshoe shaped paths it made. Only took a few million years

It's over 1000 feet straight down. No safety Rails. Lanny is pretty close to the edge.

He then climbed down another area to stand on another rock.

The dirt starts where you can't see the end of the pavement on that road ahead

One mile before we start up the dirt grade with many switchbacks.

No rails or shoulders on the road, it's a long way down, but not a bad ride

You can see the road equipment down there. Yesterday the rain and snow put a lot of new ruts in the road. There is a grader working down there, but the loose dirt and gravel in his path make it harder to stay up.

Another destination. It's a 9 mile ride to see the 3 Natural Bridges, lots of trails too. Once you start, it's a narrow one-way road, so you're committed to the 9 mile trip. it was scenic...

We rode back to the top of the Dirt road again. Since we came up, we decided to make the Moki Dugway both ways. So, down the hill we went

We made it fine. We're close now back to Mexican Hat. These are natural patterns in the rock. Getting darker from heavy clouds and starting to rain again.

We made it to Kayenta, and got a room at the Wetherill Inn. Nice Motel. We went to the Blue Coffee Pot to eat. This figure is on the counter.

Residue from dirt and snow. Lanny peeled off to head south out of Flagstaff. it was raining and 30 degrees. I jumped onto I-40. Couldn't see after about 20 miles. Heavy snow. I finally was able to see enough to get off the highway. Was going to call Pat to tell her I'd be late getting in, because of poor vision. She was in the process of calling me. He had got the trailer hooked up, and drove to Ashfork to rescue me! I was only 17 miles from her, so I jumped back on and headed down the hill. Was still cold, but pavement dried out. I found her and loaded up the bike, and off we went. Was glad to see the house!

These are Mud spots that dropped from Lannys bike when he stopped to get me on the way out. They cleaned up real easy. Goldwing tracks.

The next morning, it was still raining. Pat said she had a loose tooth. So..Jumped in the car and drove to Mexico.

Sandy, the receptionist at the Dental Clinic we like in Los Algodones. Was able to get her in and fixed

Those are the 2 doctors there. I use Nidia, Pat gets Pabel. He did an extraction in the back, then some bone grafting in preparation for an implant after it all heals up. 5 stitches, some antibiotics and pain meds and were out of there. I had a hair cut and a Sope at Jose's. All went well.

Doesn't get better than this!

Pabel is an excellent Dentist. It will take 6 months to heal up good, then he'll put in the implant anchor. Then, another wait before it can be crowned.

After getting back to Yuma, I took some things out to Redd. He has his place looking good

This is inside our little tin box where we spend the winters. People give us dust catchers. I like every one, they all have a story.

Couple of weeks ago when we were here, this Hen had 6 little ones. Now down to 3. There are several other families in the park

Today, May 25th, there was a small car show a half a block away from out house, At the Mohave Community College campus. There was between 150 and 200 cars. I took a bunch of pictures, but only posted a few here.
