Reno, etc.

Wild Horse Store.  Connie makes good sandwiches.  Marylee serves up the diet Arizona tea.

Good place to sit and have a cup of coffee.  Hackberry Store

Lookout over the trail down to the Supai Village on the Hualapai Reservation

Horses and mules. Some for packing and some for riding

The trail is a little over 7 miles from here to the Villiage down on the river

Western part of the Grand Canyon

A natural Wind Sock

The only place in the US where all the mail is carried daily by horses and mules.

This train just made it up here to the top

This one is just starting down

Norma and David rode out with us.  Kenny and Thelma was with us too.

One of the largest horses I've seen up here

On the way to Reno.  North of Las Vegas on Highway 95, the predominant businesses seem to be Fireworks stores and Bordellos.

Oh...and some Aliens too

Not exactly a jungle, but there are some pretty desert flowers

Firehouse in Goldfield, NV

Parking lot at a local watering hole

LeRoy Brown works here

1907 High School

Historical Society is renovating it

Tonopah, NV

A City on a hill

Have gone by this motel many times.  Always makes me think of  Kelly Cobb.

Our friend, Slots.  He's lost almost 70 pounds, and is doing well.  He and his wife Katie needed a fur ball.  Lulu fit the bill perfectly.

Tony D.  Anthony moved from the Desert to Indiana. He's in Reno visiting his family. It was good that we were all able to hook up for a visit and food.

Tony, Katie, Paul and Pat. Taco Bueno.

The the old days!  This is the location of the infamous Mustang Ranch.  Maybe the only Brothel ran by the Government.

Roses in Death Valley.  Probably not native to the area

Doorman at the Fruits and Nuts place in Beaty, NV

The most expensive Jerky I've ever seen for sale. $68 a pound

Candy, nuts and other high dollar snacks.  Most of the customers are tourists going in or out of Death Valley

This Ice Cream was good

Pat checking out the Gift shop

Another of my favorite stops. Rosie's Den.  About 50 miles from the house

It has been a long drive. We stopped here for dinner.  A good place to eat

Or buy something

Lots of places to buy fireworks

Looks like Mexico, but just another Nevada Fireworks outlet

And another

This station is out of business, but not for too long

Sue Hoban, was this your place in another life?

Going South now, up the hill out of Tonopah

Red Hot VFW hall

Lots of empty homes and stores

This nice trailer was hauling Mules.  Probably on the way to Bishop, California.
